Product Description

Paramotoring offers a whole new level of adventure to your flying!

Motorised flight opens a new range of opportunities which extend well past the scope of paragliding, allowing for flat ground take off and exploration. The sports are ‘cousins’ in their skill sets as well as the type of people they attract.

Currently a paramotor endorsement course is only available to pilots that have completed their PG4 Free Flying Pilot Certificate in paragliding, including the necessary VHF Endorsement. You may only begin your training once you have completed the PG4 Pilot Certificate. If you became a PG4 before the requirement of a VHF endorsement was in place, then this will need to be done as part of your training – please be sure to let us know if this is required.

If you are not currently a Paraglider Pilot, and are only interested in motorised flight, there is a straight through Paramotor Certificate.

At Poliglide we can connect you with other experienced pilots, all over the country, to help you continue once your formal training has ended.

Our aim is to ensure you move into the sport with support and confidence.

We will assist you in selecting the right gear for you, that matches your needs. Our Fresh Breeze Australia Mechanical and Support Team will keep your motor flying reliably, with back up service that is second to none.

    :

I have just completed a paramotor course with Poliglide and it was an awesome experience. The location at Evans Head airstrip was excellent, as it was very large open area and by the coast so the wind was more consistent than inland. Andrews calm, patient teaching manner and many years of experience made the transition from paragliding to paramotoring not only less daunting than I imagined, but an awesome experience. Andrew trained me in paragliding many years ago, and after my first paramotor flight at Evans I landed and said to Andrew, “this is the second time you have made my life awesome!”
Also, the location of the airstrip meant all the training for the paramotoring endorsement could be completed in one location and I was signed off in two days. Over the two days the wind literally came in from all directions, but the location was perfect to take advantage the wind. The airstrip is not frequently used so we had it all to ourselves for the two days. The training took part on a huge grass field next to the airstrip.

I began my flying life flying sailplanes at 16 years of age, then as a GA pilot flying Cessna’s. Then got hooked on paragliding, and now I can relive the freedom of powered flight where I can relax and go anywhere my heart desires.
    Bill H, NSW.
