Ready for the next step in your flying?
We have recognised the needs of pilots that require a professional and formal course to continue to build their skills and confidence in paragliding.
Are you interested in-
Brushing up on your launching and landing skills?
Getting a professional introduction to the Northern Rivers Club sites?
Gaining recognition for the skills you have attained as a PG2 and PG3 pilot?
Working through a part of your flying that has had your learning levels plateau?
Then Poliglide’s intermediate (PG4) course could be what your looking for.
The HGFA PG4 Certificate requirements and study guide are worth looking into. The course involves a practical and theoretical component that will address the HGFA requirements as well as your confidence.
We structure the course in 2- 4 sessions depending on your needs. One of the sessions is a review of the theoretical component that involves an exam with 80 multiple choice questions the first 20 of which are similar to the first certificate.
Prerequisites for your PG4 Certificate include a minimum of 30 hours of flight, gained over at least 25 flying days, with a minimum of 5 different flying sites, including at least 5 hours of thermal flying and 5 hours of ridge soaring. You will need to provide your log book to demonstrate you have accomplished the requirements.
