Reduced width of the helmet
The reduced width of the helmet results in less weight and less air resistance.
NOTE: The maximum size in the Solar X is XL (61 cm)
The 3 mm thickness polycarbonate shell has the advantage of being very light but still very strong.
The polystyrene is reinforced with one more layer of polycarbonate to achieve the hard penetration test of the E.N. 966 certification.
Between the shell and the polystyrene there are 2 channels with wholes for air flow
This is an Optional Extra, available in 2 colours:
Airflow inside the helmet
You can open or close the air vents into the helmet with one hand easily while you are flying
The are 3 available sizes with wheel regulator for a perfect fit of the head circumference from 53 cm to 61 cm.
- Small (cm 53 – 54 – 55- 56)
- Medium (cm 57 – 58 – 59)
- Large (cm 60 – 61)
Interchangeable internal padding
3 internal paddings are adapted to the 3 sizes determined by the wheel regulator situated in the back of the helmet. They can be replaced by larger or smaller padding pieces including the wheel regulator, thus varying the helmet size.
Covering shell edge
For the first time we don’t use the normal rubber to cover the edge of the shell
We found the method to stitch a strip of fabric around all the helmet
The result is unique and beautiful
Plastic-coated stainless steel wire sidepieces and micrometric chin strap
Certification E.N. 966
The helmet has been tested by the italian laboratory Newton a company authorized by the Italian Ministry of Transport and recognized by the German TUV.
All our helmets are designed especially for free flight, paramotor and micro light pilots, in accordance with the European standards (EN 966).
